John Kennedy is a Chartered Landscape Architect (MLI), and member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. He has specific training for health and safety in the construction, railway, highway and utilities sectors, and has experience of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and the preparation of contract Quality, Safety and Environment Plans for large-scale landscape management projects.
Our staff have acted as Planning Supervisor, Designer and Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and holds PTS and IWA certification for lone survey work on operational railway sites.
We have managed several community engagement projects that have included responsibility for teams of skilled workers and volunteers involved in exhibition and site specific work, including Renewability at Mile End Park, the Boreal installation at Chelsea Flower Show, and Landscape Institute 75 at Urbis, Manchester.
LandLab have received basic training for working with children and young adults.
